MPowerKit.GoogleMaps

Google Maps SDK library for .NET MAUI. Very easy to use. Allows to interact with map in MVVM manner through bindings or with map control directly.

This library is designed for the .NET MAUI. The main control of this library GoogleMap implements every single feature that Google Maps SDK for Android and iOS provides. Every feature of the SDK is represented as BindableProperty, so you can build very flexible solutions that require usage of Google Maps.

Also, this library supports features from the Google Maps Utils SDK, but does not bring extra native dependencies. All code from Utils SDK is ported from Java to C#/.NET and completely cross-platform.

Grid	Groups markers into a grid for clustering. This algorithm organizes items into a two-dimensional grid, facilitating the formation of clusters based on proximity within each grid cell. The grid size determines the spatial granularity of clustering, and clusters are created by aggregating items within the same grid cell.
NonHierarchicalDistance	A simple clustering algorithm with O(nlog n) performance. Resulting clusters are not hierarchical.
NonHierarchicalView	Algorithm that can be used for managing large numbers of items (>1000 markers). This algorithm works the same way as `NonHierarchicalDistance` but works, only in visible area.
GridPreCaching	The same as `Grid` algorithm, but optimistically fetch clusters for adjacent zoom levels, caching them as necessary.
NonHierarchicalDistancePreCaching	The same as `NonHierarchicalDistance` algorithm, but optimistically fetch clusters for adjacent zoom levels, caching them as necessary.

Zoom	int	Zoom level of the map to build the tile.
TileSize	int	The size of tile in pixels. Default is 256.

Icon	ImageSource	The MAUI's `ImageSource` that can be used as an icon for pin. This means that you can use different sources, such as url, stream, file etc to set the icon. Also, you can use `ViewImageSource` to provide a custom view as pin icon. If the icon is left unset, a default icon will be displayed.
Position	Point	Represents the latitude/longitude position of pin on the map
AnchorX	double	Represents the X coordinate of the pin's anchor. Can take values 0.0-1.0. Default is 0.5
AnchorY	double	Represents the Y coordinate of the pin's anchor. Can take values 0.0-1.0. Default is 1.0
Title	string	A text string that's displayed in default info window when the user taps the pin.

IsEnabled	bool	Indicates whether the pin can be clicked on. If `false` `PinClicked` event will not be fired when user clicks the pin, also it will not be selected. Default is `true`.

Property	Type	Description
Points	PointCollection	The vertices of the line. Line segments are drawn between consecutive points on the map. A polyline is not closed by default; to form a closed polyline, the start and end points must be the same. If you change the `PointCollection` adding or removing some points it will not update the polyline on the map. To change polyline form you need to reset this property by new `PointCollection`.
Stroke	Brush	The color of the polyline represented as `Brush`. This means that you can use `SolidColorBrush` to paint polyline with a single color or use `LinearGradientBrush` with two colors to paint polyline with gradient (gradient will be applied from first point to the last point). Polyline will be black if this property not set. Default is `null`.
StrokeThickness	double	The thickness of the polyline represented as screen pixels. Default is 0.
StrokeLineJoin	PenLineJoin	The joint type for all vertices of the polyline except the start and end vertices. Default is `Miter`. Applies only for Android.
StrokeLineCap	PenLineCap	The cap at the end vertex of this polyline. Default is `Flat`. Applies only for Android.
StrokeDashArray	DoubleCollection	Solid (default, represented by `null`) or a sequence of double values to be repeated along the line. Note: due to the iOS SDK implementation dash pattern's dashes and gaps lengths are represented in meters, but there is `PolylineAttached.iOSPixelDependentDashedPattern` attached property especially designed for this purpose to switch dash pattern to pixels and by default it will use pixels. Note: if you are using dash pattern with gradient paint, you may notice that on iOS it works different in comparison to Android.
Opacity	double	Sets the opacity of the polyline. Default is 1.0
ZIndex	int	The draw order for the polylines. Polylines are drawn in order of the `ZIndex`, with the highest `ZIndex` polyline drawn on top. Default is 0.
IsVisible	bool	Indicates whether the polyline is visible. Default is `true`.
IsEnabled	bool	Indicates whether the polyline can be clicked on. If `false` `PolylineClicked` event will not be fired when user clicks the polyline. Default is `true`.
PolylineAttached.iOSPixelDependentDashedPattern	bool	This is an attached property designed for `Polyline`. Indicates whether the polyline's dash pattern dashes and gaps lengths should depend on pixels or meters. Default is `true`.
PolylineAttached.TextureStamp	string	This is an attached property designed for `Polyline`. Allows you to create a polyline using a repeated texture. This should be the `MauiImage` file.

Property	Type	Description
Points	PointCollection	The list of vertices in clockwise or counterclockwise order. It is not necessary for the start and end points to coincide; if they do not, the polygon will be automatically closed. Line segments are drawn between consecutive points in the shorter of the two directions (east or west). If you change the `PointCollection` adding or removing some points it will not update the polygon on the map. To change polygon form you need to reset this property by new `PointCollection`.

PolygonAttached.Holes	IEnumerable<IEnumerable<Point>>	This is an attached property designed for `Polygon`. A hole is a region inside the polygon that is not filled. A hole is specified in exactly the same way as the outline. A hole must be fully contained within the outline. Multiple holes can be specified, however overlapping holes are not supported.

Image	ImageSource	The image to be used for this overlay. The image will be scaled to fit the position provided. You must specify an image before adding the ground overlay to the map. The MAUI's `ImageSource` that can be used as an image for overlay. This means that you can use different sources, such as url, stream, file etc to set the image. Also, you can use `ViewImageSource` to provide a custom view as overlay image. Default is `null`.
OverlayBounds	LatLngBounds	The 2D bounds on the Earth in which image is drawn. Changing this value will adjust position accordingly in respect to the anchor. Default is `null`.
Position	Point	The position of this overlay, or more specifically, the physical position of its anchor. If this is changed, bounds will be moved around the new position in respect to the anchor.
WidthRequest	double	Width of the bounds in meters. Used in conjuction with `Position` property. Setting this property will adjust overlay bounds around the position in respect to the anchor. Applies only for Android.
HeightRequest	double	Height of the bounds in meters. Used in conjuction with `Position` and `WidthRequest` properties. Using it without `WidthRequest` property will not have any effect. Setting this property will adjust overlay bounds around the position in respect to the anchor. Applies only for Android.
AnchorX	double	The x coordinate of the anchor. The anchor specifies where this overlay is anchored to the Earth in relation to bounds. If this is modified on Android after adding overlay to the map will not have any effect. If this is modified on iOS, the position will be set to the corresponding new position within bounds. Default is 0.5
AnchorY	double	The y coordinate of the anchor. The anchor specifies where this overlay is anchored to the Earth in relation to bounds. If this is modified on Android after adding overlay to the map will not have any effect. If this is modified on iOS, the position will be set to the corresponding new position within bounds. Default is 0.5
Bearing	double	The amount in degrees that the image should be rotated in a clockwise direction. The center of the rotation will be the image's anchor. Default is 0.
Opacity	double	Sets the opacity of the ground overlay. Default is 1.0
ZIndex	int	The draw order for the ground overlays. Ground overlay are drawn in order of the `ZIndex`, with the highest `ZIndex` ground overlay drawn on top. Default is 0.
IsVisible	bool	Indicates whether the ground overlay is visible. Default is `true`.
IsEnabled	bool	Indicates whether the ground overlay can be clicked on. If `false` `GroundOverlayClicked` event will not be fired when user clicks the ground overlay. Default is `true`.

TileProvider	Func<Point, int, int, ImageSource?>	The `TileProvider` provides the images that are used in the tile overlay.
TileTemplate	DataTemplate	`TileTemplate` can be used instead of `TileProvider` and has higher prioriy than `TileProvider`, this means: firstly `TileTemplate` property will be checked, and if it null then `TileProvider` property. This property supports `DataTemplateSelector`. Template always accepts `TileData` object as `x:DataType` for `BindingContext` and always should be of type `ImageSource`. For more look into Sample project.
TileSize	int	Google Maps targets 256 dp (device-independent pixels) when displaying tiles. For high resolution devices, it is recommended that you return high dpi tiles (512x512 px). This is optional. Default is 256.
FadeIn	bool	Indicates whether the tiles should fade in when appeared. Default is `true`.
Opacity	double	Sets the opacity of the tiles. Default is 1.0
ZIndex	int	The draw order for the tiles. Tiles are drawn in order of the `ZIndex`, with the highest `ZIndex` tiles drawn on top. Default is 0.
IsVisible	bool	Indicates whether the tiles are visible. Default is `true`.

Data	IEnumerable<WeightedLatLng>	Represents dataset (coordinates and intensities) heat map should be generated for. Must be set before adding this tile overlay to the map. Default is `null`.
Gradient	Gradient	Represents custom gradient colors for heat map. Default is `null`, this means that default gradient will be used.
Radius	int	Radius of each point of the dataset. Default is 20 for Android and 50 for iOS, minimum 10 for both, maximum 100 for Android and 200 for iOS.
MaxIntensity	float	Intensity of each point of the dataset. Default is 0f, should take only positive numbers.
